The Message

When Emerson Toyota of Auburn Maine said they had low priced used cars on “The Back 40,” the city folk here at CRG Auto were more than a little confused. But after hitting The Goog, we learned that The Back 40 referred to the back side, or most remote, part of a farm. This became the inspiration for this animated campaign, painting Emerson’s Back 40 as a local secret spot for clearance priced used cars.

The Result:

CRG may not have been familiar with the term, but in rural Maine, The Back 40 concept was a perfect fit. Its unique execution further resonated with potential customers and truly captured the home-grown, locals-only spirit, helping Emerson to increase used car sales.
